Since working from home and staying inside, my routine has definitely changed. I don't get up as early as I used to, and things are just different. It can be hard to stay focused and motivated when you feel out of your element, and one of the best things you can do for yourself to stay balanced is to keep some sort of routine.
Since I'm working from home, I get to maintain my work schedule which helps me have a constant in keeping up my routine. Another thing that can help with your routine and lift your mood is to get dressed up!
I'm not saying you have to put on a ball gown (though you can if you wish), but taking a shower, putting on your favorite fragrance, getting dressed in your normal clothes, and doing your hair and/or makeup can make you feel like you're going somewhere even when you aren't.
If I'm being honest, I dress really casual on most days inside. I've got on yoga pants and a tee or a sweater, or leggings with a matching top, and my furry slippers or cozy socks. However, I have dressed up a few times when being stuck inside whether to pick up my prescription from the pharmacy or to just work from home, and I physically feel better. I feel more energized and happier and like things are somewhat normal.
If you're into fashion, take a few outfit of the day photos for your social media too. That'll spice up your social pages and give you and your followers inspiration.
Although pjs are cozy and comfortable, they can sometimes blur things and your reality can seem more dank than it is. Just a quick little sprucing up can positively impact your entire day.
