Finding Your Signature Shoes

Updated: Apr 26

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! Today's post is all about finding your signature shoes.

I have various pairs of shoes, and they're all special to me in their own unique way, but this post is all about my white boots.

I've had these white boots for a couple of years, and they're one of my favorite pairs of shoes in my closet. They look so worn down to me as I get to see them up close and all their flaws, but I can't bring myself to stop wearing them. Plus, I get compliments on them every time I wear them, and it's as if I'm the only one who notices their flaws.

Why do I consider these my signature shoes?

For one, they're probably the most worn pair of shoes in my closet. I used to work in a bridal boutique, and I would them almost every single day with a black or white suit or black pants with a bodysuit and a leather jacket.

I've worn these boots to the mall, the grocery store, the movies, etc.. If I'm being completely honest, they're probably my favorite pair of shoes. I reach for these the way I reach for slippers at home. They just feel safe and cozy to me.

Another special thing about these boots is that they're so unique. I've never seen anyone in these boots or anything similar in person. They're just so classic and retro. I feel like a fashionista in them and they make me feel amazing.

Signature shoes are shoes that you can also wear with everything. I wear these with dresses, skirts, jeans, and even athletic wear. I love rocking athletic wear with dress shoes for a look that's effortlessly on trend.

So, with all that said, how do you find your signature shoes?

1) They have to be shoes that call you. You see them, and you just know that for some reason, you have to have them. You know if you leave them behind that you won't stop thinking about them.

2) They're unique. You know that you'll stand out wearing them, but you won't care. You'll be happy that no one else is wearing anything like them.

3) They're versatile. You can dress them up or down and wear them with your favorite pieces. They'll go with various styles and colors in your wardrobe. You know they'll be your go to shoes.
