A Must Have Wardrobe Essential

Updated: Jun 23

Hello everyone and welcome or welcome back to my blog! Today I want to share one of my recent purchases which I feel is a must have wardrobe essential: my clothing depiller.

What is a clothing depiller? Well, basically it's this awesome device that shaves your clothing and gets those stubborn nasty lint balls off sweaters, pants, etc. that make pieces look old and worn. I ordered it recently for under $15, and it's amazing.

I tried it on a few sweaters last night that I've had for a few years, and it made them look brand new. I've been meaning to buy one of these tools for over a year, and I'm so glad I got it as I can repair my old sweaters for endless wears instead of purchasing new ones.

There's a handy on and off switch on the back, and there are different guards that you can use and adjust depending on your fabric. All you have to do is rotate the plastic piece on the front.

You can also remove the guard completely for the closest shave. I like this setting best, and it didn't tear up my clothes at all and really got the tough pills off. There's also a compartment that collects all the lint and fuzz that's easy to remove too.

The blades seem to be pretty durable and worked for getting stubborn lint balls off my clothes. When I was using it, the blades stopped when the compartment filled, but once I emptied it out, it turned on again and worked just fine.

It's battery operated which is important to know as it doesn't come with batteries. However, it's very easy to use and set up.

I'm so happy I purchased this tool, and in quarantine, it's the perfect time to get your sweaters ready for the winter months. You can get one of your own here.
