10 Ways to Have Fun this Summer

Hello lovelies and welcome or welcome back to my blog! In today's post, I'm sharing 10 ways to have fun this summer. I know this year is very different for a lot of us with the pandemic and the state of the world, but you can still have fun!

1) Go to the park or beach.


Getting some fresh air is good and a great way to have fun. A nice beach walk with the sand in your toes and the cool sea breeze is a great way to unwind and enjoy the simple things!


2) Take a nice day trip to a drive-through restaurant!


Go an hour out of town to a unique or different drive-through or restaurant you haven't been to and get food to go! You can eat it in your car or at a picnic table or park and switch things up from your daily routine. Nice long drives are fun and a great way to clear your head.


You could even get groceries. When I was a teen, sometimes my family and I would go to Whole Foods an hour out of town for groceries as it was the closest Whole Foods to us, and it was so simple yet so fun to do. Make sure you have coolers or appropriate shopping bags if you do!


3) Have a dance party inside!


Whether you're quarantined with others or alone, you can turn on your speakers and dance to your favorite songs! Dancing always helps me feel good.


4) Have a picnic or date night inside!


Get out a blanket and some comfy pillows and order takeout or cook your favorite meal. You can do this with someone or by yourself, and you can even eat in your bed if that's comfier. Pull up a good movie and you're ready to go!


5) Window shop.


Fall is right around the corner, and it's a great time to start getting ideas for your cold-weather looks. The coolest part? You can do this at home on a computer or phone. Check out my Shop page for some ideas!


6) Earn some extra cash.


Sell old things online you aren't using to clear up some space and get some coin for it!


7) Have a picnic with friends!


This is a great way to catch up with people you haven't seen, and you can socially distance while you do it.


8) Set goals.


Are there things you want to achieve before the end of the year? Set some goals! Be nice and patient with yourself in the process too.


9) Have a game night.


Play board games or video games to let loose a little! Enjoy the little things.


10) Remember all of the things you're grateful for.


Remembering what you're grateful for can lift your mood and keep you uplifted and inspired. It also makes room for more goodness and great things.
